Job Description

This Client’s property in Mandurah was effected by a burst pipe in the laundry that resulted in flooding of the house. One of the impacts to occur to the structure and some contents in the house, was that of Category 2 Mould & some Category 3 Mould development. As per our IICRC Standards Certification and Qualifications, our approach was to start with the removal of carpets & flooring, whilst containing any open air vents throughout the effected areas. There was also AFD’s & Dehumidifiers placed around the property as required. Once the required carpeting, tiles & skirting boards had been removed, we then HEPA Vacuum all effected areas. After the previous stages had been complete, we then applied chemicals in accordance to disinfect and target the effected Category 2 and Category 3 Mould areas. After the chemicals had been applied, there was an additional HEPA Vacuum application. Then there was the final installation of Fans, Dehums and AFD’s throughout the property to finalise the drying process.
